Heavy lift

Cargo heavy enough that ordinary cranes and handling won’t safely move it, requiring a lift plan — rated cranes or the vessel’s heavy-lift gear, calculated rigging, and engineered pick points. Transformers, presses, vessels and large machinery fall here. The weight drives everything downstream: crane selection, chassis, permits and route, so an accurate weight and centre of gravity is the starting point, not a detail.
