Currency adjustment factor (CAF)

Also: CAF

A surcharge covering exchange-rate movement between the currency the carrier prices in and the currency it settles in, expressed as a percentage of the base rate. Like BAF, it is a pass-through line that can move between quote and invoice, so it belongs in any all-in comparison of two rates.
